Tapioca for Maemo 2.0 platform
TapiocaUI is a GoogleTalk client with VoIP and Instant messaging capabilities, with a simple user interface. It can be installed on the device without any conflict with the product's built-in Gtalk client. Currently (end of July 2006) there is no support for SIP yet.

Installing the packages
In the Application Catalogue: add the following repositories:

- Refresh the packages list, select and install tapiocaui0.3
- During the install process, the application manager will ask you where to put the tapiocaui's menu icon. Choose the one you think more appropriate and click OK

Using Tapiocaui
- Open tapiocaui
- You will be prompted for and account and password. The account is your email address (e.g. user@gmail.com) and the password is the same as your gmail's password. Click on Log in.
- After logging in, your contact's list will be automatically retrieved from the server and displayed to you.
- The icons at the left of the contact's name represent their presence status.
- The phone icon at the the contact's right represents the contact's capability for making voice calls. If it's disabled, means the user has no voice capability on his/her GTalk client.
- Text messages can be sent by tapping twice on the contact's name, or by selecting the contact and then tapping on the chat button at the toolbar.
- Voice calls can be done by tapping the green phone button.
